When you produce high-quality panels under industrial conditions, a long tradition of craftsmanship is not strictly necessary. But it helps.

Johann Georg Reich founds the Reich carpenter's workshop in Würzburg

Johann Reich, son of the founder and trained cabinet maker, joins the company. The production focus shifts from structural carpentry to furniture making.

1920
|
Sons Franz and (1926) Hans Reich join the company.

1939
|
Relocation to the new industrial area Aumühle. Following the death of Johann Reich, the company continues as "Hans Reich Söhne".

|
The workshop, along with all of its wood supplies, goes up in flames during overnight bombing on 16 March.

1948
|
Reconstruction by the brothers Franz and Hans Reich. Concentration on property-related business (interior finishing, furniture manufacture).

|
Expansion of the production centre. Following the death of his brother Franz, Hans Reich continues to run the company alone.

1973
|
Further expansion. The architect Friedrich Reich joins his father's company and takes over management in 1976. Start of series production for commercial customers.

The company abandons the property-related business area and concentrates fully on high-quality veneered panels and tabletops.
